When you plan a party or event it can be hard to choose a date (and day) that will suit most people in order to maximise numbers.
I was pretty confident I had mangaged this task successfully but this week Christina (event planner and best friend!) told me that her package holiday date had been changed so she is in fact on holiday in Italy the week we booked the party!! So not funny…
Crisis over I have re-booked the venue and exhibitors and can confirm that the new date is Wednesday 28th October 2009. So please save the date, write it on your calendar and in your diary and buy tickets for our fundraising Pink Party!!

Well I have had another very busy and exciting week-it’s been all about exhibitors! I thought about the type of businesses you would like to see at this year’s party and have been emailing contacts throughout Nottingham as well as visiting their shops. I had lots of positive feedback and interest from Signature Boutique, who attended last year. Also I am pleased to announce that Jolie Lingerie and Beauty Temple have signed up to attend the event!! Looking forward to those hand and arm massages!
Next week Christina (event planner and web designer and best friend! ) and I will be finalising the flyer design so if there are any more exhibitors wanting to be included on this they need to confirm by Friday 21st August via email to carriexloux@hotmail.com.

Things are moving on quickly now with the venue booked and our first sponsor – Manor Pharmacy! Thanks to them for supporting us- please check out their websites manorpharmacy.co.uk and vet-medic.com.
We also have our first exhibitors being confirmed!! Check back soon for the latest info as the website is constantly updated!
It’s been a very productive week and I have been busy contacting potential guests and exhibitors who will I think will bring exciting products and demonstrations to the Pink Party. I have also been looking at menu’s and pink drink offers for all you lovely attendee.

Getting all excited as planning gets underway for this year’s Pink Party Nottingham 2009!! I have loads of great ideas and it will be bigger and better than before, hoping to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Website and online ticket service in progress so watch this space
